I have some addictions, like shopping, amongst others.
I'm allowing my latest addiction to run riot. I have become addicted to paying off my debts. Yup, I now lay awake thinking how can I pay more off this debt. I imagine the debts reducing, I think about every extra cent that I can get and how I can make a few dollars on the side to pay off more debt. It makes me so happy to pay some money off a debt and I get really down if I haven't paid off some debt at least once a week. I love my spreadsheet and look at it every day and spend hours calculating how long it's going to take me to become debt free.
I suppose the old saying is true "the truth will set you free". By being truthful with myself and starting this blog, I've set myself free.

good for you!
It feels great doesn't it, I find I can't wait for payday so I can pay off some debt and I look forward to the end of the month to see what the tally shows. You are doing great!
Just found your blog through Louise over at eliminate my debt. I can so relate to this. Doing some quick mental sums and converting £'s to $'s, think I;m in the same ball park. And funnily enough, there's a(n) (un) healthy dose of business debt in there too!
Wondering since you've read the secret, if you could spread that addictive debt paying bug over my way.
I'll switch off my anti-virus software, because that's one bug I really want.
Impressed you've made such a good start.
I've just blogged my way through a company liquidation and started again. Feeling really positive today because the bank accepted my offer on a personal guarantee they're caling on. So another month of avoiding bankruptcy!
One more negotiation to go, then I can start tackling the personal debt mountain which I;ve just about managed to keep at bay while we went through the hell of liquidating the company and starting again.
Well done! You're an inpsiration!
Good luck with Google Adsense. I hope you get a few more clicks today :)
I'm addicted to paying off my debt too! In fact, I even mentioned it in my blog last week as well. Please check my blog out - I am journeying from debt and back also. There's so many of us out there! I love your blog, so I'm going to add you to my favorites!
I get excited for payday and anytime I get extra money - babysitting or from Associated Content or other side jobs! And I can't wait for my billing cycles to end so that I can tally by total paid off! I should have an August update posted Monday or Tuesday - I can't wait!
